100 years of memory making.
Each booth has its own heartbeat - its own stories, quirks, and visitors. From Flinders Street Station to Collingwood and Carlton, our machines continue a ritual that hasn’t changed in decades: camera flashes, a short wait, and a strip that becomes a tangible memory. Yours to keep, forever.
The Shop.
From everyday totes to the Auto-Photo book documenting Alan Adler’s remarkable archive, our merch collection celebrates the people and history behind Melbourne’s real photobooths.

The Man Who Kept the Booths Alive
For 50 years, these photobooths were tended to by Alan Adler. Week after week, year after year, he sat for thousands of test strips, unknowingly building a photographic archive of his own life. We’re honoured to carry his legacy forward, caring for the same machines he once did. We celebrated his life work with a major exhibition ‘Auto Photo: A Life in Portraits’ in 2025, which saw over 35,000 visitors as well as a book documenting his test strips, travels and interviews.
